In agreement with major libraries and research institutes (the Institute and Museum of the History of Science, the Turin Academy of Science, the University of Milan, the Department of Italian Studies at the University of Rome, the University of Pavia Library, the Braidense National Library and others), under the aegis of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the BEIC Foundation has promoted the digitization of large collections of ancient and modern works, which will soon be available for online consultation.

38 Senators Submit a Written Inquiry Regarding the BEIC (July 15, 2010)
On July 15, in the Senate, an inquiry regarding the future of the BEIC was submitted by 38 members of parliament (the first signer being Sen. Prof. Pietro Ichino) to the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Minister of Infrastructure and the Minister of Economy and Finance.
